A New Youth Theatre Research and Creation Centre

City and river.

As a research centre and project incubator fostering theatre creation and practice aimed at children and young people, Le Cube is thinking big!

The birth of a youth theatre hub in Montréal

Founded by the Carrousel and the Théâtre le Clou, Le Cube offers artistic residencies and workshops. Its mission is to foster the evolution, enhancement, and development of theatre creation and practice aimed at young people locally, nationally, and internationally. It also provides artists with optimal conditions for honing their craft. Le Cube hopes to extend its services and strategies, which include co-residencies in France, conferences, and public positions.

A space for creative support

Thanks to its research activities, services, and specialized equipment, Le Cube is increasingly describing itself as a tool available to artists who create for children and teenagers. It is also undertaking partnerships across Canada and abroad in order to facilitate the pooling of resources.
