Request For Proposals

As required in Council’s Procurement Policy, the purchase of goods and/or services valued at greater than $25,000 must go through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to solicit quotations from several suppliers in response to written terms of reference. The Canada Council uses MERX to post all RFP’s. Click on the link provided below to view and order the complete RFP documents from MERX. When an amendment is issued, MERX will automatically notify suppliers of the change to the RFP.

Please note that if you choose to download the RFP document directly from our website, it is your responsibility to verify regularly for any amendments or additional information that may be updated or added to the RFP.

Media training

The purpose of this RFP is to engage a Vendor to raise the level of Canada Council employees’ awareness of media relations practices and protocols and to equip Council spokespeople to conduct interviews, as coordinated by the Council’s Communications and Engagement team. The Vendor will develop and conduct two types of media relations training sessions: (1) spokesperson coaching and (2) general media relations awareness for employees of the Council that have public relations, outreach, and event management responsibilities. Through these activities, employees should gain a better understanding of their role in the Council’s media relations protocol and be reminded to refer to the Communications and Engagement team for advisory and coordination support upon receiving a media request.
