Andrew Waite, who sings and performs rock, roots, adult contemporary, folk-rock, and Americana music, was invited to perform in a showcase at the 2020 East Coast Music Awards in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

In 2020, Waite was invited to perform in a showcase at the Awards and hoped to use the event to meet with delegates and international buyers and tour bookers. He has been planning a tour in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, and he has other national and international bookings on the radar. The original plan would have seen him travel from PEI to St. John’s to perform, but the Awards ended up being presented online due to COVID‑19. Organizers worked hard to record performances and put together a compelling show.
