Le Grenier Musique Is Coming to Montréal and Québec City

Seven emerging New Brunswick artists represented by Le Grenier musique were applauded at the Folk Alliance International 2019 Conference in Montréal and at the Bourse RIDEAU in Québec City.

Musicians who turn on the charm

Simon Daniel, Dans l'Shed, Cy, Émilie Landry, Chloé Breault, Jacques Surette and Matt Boudreau are the seven artists selected by Le Grenier musique to perform at the two events and benefit from a joint promotional campaign. Emulating other New Brunswick artists who came before them, they took advantage of the two networking and showcasing events to stimulate the development of their musical careers. The events were an opportunity to discuss potential tours and creative residencies in Quebec and abroad. Le Grenier musique has assisted with this sort of event in the past, notably with singer-songwriter Joey Robin Haché, in 2015, and artist Menoncle Jason, in 2017.

A tour maximized thanks to Rosemarie Records

Hoping to increase potential meetings by putting their address books together, Le Grenier musique decided to draw on the strengths of a Moncton-based agency and a Montréal-based record company. Joint tours, much like the Menoncle Jason–Pierre Guitard European tour in March 2019, are being discussed.
