Jazz Artist Beverly Glenn-Copeland Tours the UK and Europe
Beverly Glenn-Copeland performed with a new group of young musicians in the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Denmark in November 2018.
Encounters with new audiences in Europe
With a Japanese record label having recently re-released his albums, Beverly Glenn-Copeland noticed new European audiences cropping up—and they were much younger than his early fans. A grant awarded under the Arts Abroad program enabled him to perform before these new audiences.
Introducing young musicians and opening doors for them abroad
Beverly Glenn-Copeland took advantage of a fruitful intergenerational collaboration by assembling a brand new group of touring musicians. He also invited these young musicians to meet European audiences and to network to promote their careers across the pond.
