Over the next three years, Atlantic Presenters will help its 102 members create, promote and deliver quality performances while expanding its commitment to Indigenous and culturally diverse bodies of work.

Exposure for performing artists across the Atlantic region

The Atlantic Presenters Association strives to create opportunities for Canadian artists to create, perform and tour to build audiences and showcase their work. It supports artists from rural and urban communities performing in venues ranging from 100 to 1,100 seats, and has representation from all four Atlantic provinces. It works to bring artists and presenters together to expand creative and performance opportunities.

Indigenous and culturally diverse bodies of work

Over the next few years, the association will also strengthen existing partnerships and seek new opportunities to partner with Indigenous community organizations and artists, setting up residency opportunities, touring projects and symposiums. For example, it will provide support to participate in Petapan: First Light Indigenous Arts Symposium featuring keynote speakers, workshops, showcases and a space for celebrating art and making connections.
