A cut-off date is different from an application deadline date.

For some components, you can apply any time before the start of your project, and the portal always remains open to accept your application.

A cut-off date is the date when all the applications received in a component up to that point are grouped and sent to an assessment committee. The notifications of result for each cut-off date are published on the Deadlines and Notification of Results webpage. You can start your project any time after you’ve submitted your application.
