Overview

The Peter Dwyer Scholarships are awarded to students at the National Ballet School and the National Theatre School of Canada.

Who created this prize?

Peter Dwyer played a prominent role in the creation and development of the Canada Council for the Arts. In establishing these scholarships, he chose to reward dance and theatre students.

Prize amount

A maximum of $10,000 is allocated among the recipients from each of the two schools.

How to qualify

The National Ballet School and the National Theatre School select the recipients annually.
