Artistic Creation
Artistic Creation will support artistic research and experimentation, creation, production and public sharing of artistic work. Canadian artists, groups and arts organizations can apply for project grants to develop, create and share artistic works at any or all stages of the creative process.
Projects must primarily aim to support the creation of artistic work. Projects that involve public sharing of work must also involve at least one or more of the activities found in the Eligible activities list, as all projects must involve creation activities.
Eligible activities
Eligible activities may include one or a combination of the following:
- Artistic research
- Artistic experimentation
- Creation of artistic work
- Production of artistic work
- Artists and community collaboration
- Public sharing of artistic work (this option must include at least one of the above activities)
Artistic Creation will support artistic research, creation and public sharing activities currently funded by:
- Explore and Create: Research and Creation
- Explore and Create: Concept to Realization
