The Saskatchewan folk group performed before an audience of presenters at the Folk Alliance International event in Missouri, and nailed down a few tour bookings.

Three concerts hailed by the American music industry

From February 14 to 18, 2018, Rosie & the Riveters took part in the Folk Alliance International event in Missouri, the most important promotional event of its kind in the U.S. They performed in a public concert before giving three private concerts for professionals, which were very warmly received.

A network and marketing opportunity

This highly productive short trip to the USA enabled the Saskatoon group to confirm many tour bookings there for the 2018-19 season and meet important presenters, including representatives of Americana Fest and FolkNorth. The group also inked two contracts—one with an American touring agent and one with the AIM Booking Agency for its Canadian tours.
