Request For Proposals

As required in Council’s Procurement Policy, the purchase of goods and/or services valued at greater than $25,000 must go through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to solicit quotations from several suppliers in response to written terms of reference. The Canada Council uses MERX to post all RFP’s. Click on the link provided below to view and order the complete RFP documents from MERX. When an amendment is issued, MERX will automatically notify suppliers of the change to the RFP.

Please note that if you choose to download the RFP document directly from our website, it is your responsibility to verify regularly for any amendments or additional information that may be updated or added to the RFP.

Standing Offer: Writing and Editing Services

The purpose of this Standing Offer is to add suppliers to the existing list of prequalified suppliers the Canada Council can call upon to obtain writing and editing services (in French or in English) for certain projects. A Standing Offer Agreement is an arrangement to provide goods and services at prearranged prices with set terms and conditions, for specific periods of time on an “as requested” basis. A Standing Offer is not a Contract and an Order against a Standing Offer is a “Call-up”. Each Call-up is a separate Contract between the Council and the prequalified supplier.

Deadline for submissions : 31 August, 2017
