For 35 years, Danièle Lévesque’s work has largely contributed to an affirmation of scenography, both in Quebec and in Canada. Through her innovation and very personal style, she established herself as a true creator of imagery. A graduate of the National Theatre School (1983), Danièle has worked on most Quebec stages and explored repertory and avant-garde theatre, opera, dance and museum design. She has collaborated with stage directors with very diverse approaches, like René Richard Cyr, Alice Ronfard, Brigitte Haentjens and Lorraine Pintal. A teacher at the National Theatre School since 1992, Danièle was the director of the scenography program from 2002 to 2014. Currently, she is focussed on a creative project that explores the power of images and their installation.Read more on Danièle Lévesque
