Last year, the Canada Council for the Arts hosted the inaugural Translation Rights Fair. The event was a great success and feedback was extremely positive. English- and French-language publishers enjoyed the opportunity to meet, exchange information, and ultimately sell translation rights and add new titles to their lists. Now, you can join us for the second edition in Montreal. Here’s an overview of what’s planned:
Thursday evening
Friday morning and afternoon
- one-on-one business meetings between English- and French-language publishers. Each publisher will have a table for these meetings.
- buffet lunch
- a panel discussion on marketing translations.
