Indigenous peoples right to own and control their cultural heritage. Indigenous heritage is used to refer to these rights to bring the terminology more in line with language being used in international forums. Indigenous heritage comprises all objects, sites and knowledge transmitted from generation to generation. Indigenous peoples heritage is a living heritage.
