Tulugak

Artist Story

Raven is the muse for international Arctic collaboration

Canadian artists are part of an international, multilingual collaboration that explores the raven – an important theme and legend among Eastern Arctic Indigenous peoples. In Tulugak, performing artists from Nunavut, Nunavik and Greenland use theatre, dance, music, circus arts and storytelling to explore raven tales and themes. After being workshopped, Tulugak will be performed at the National Arts Centre and will tour across Canada.
