Red diva projects – formed by the Ontario duo Marie Clements and Michelle St. John – collaborated with composers to workshop and produce the new Aboriginal musical The Road Forward. The musical is dedicated to the many First Nations women who have disappeared along B.C.’s Highway of Tears. An earlier version of the work was selected as the closing performance in the Aboriginal Pavilion of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.
