Safer Ground?: The struggle for human dignity in the face of war

This play brings to life the oral histories of Afghan Canadians, veterans and their families. In 2012, Montréal’s Teesri Duniya Theatre engaged the local Afghan community to cast light on people’s conditions, concerns and social place, while playwright James Forsythe interviewed Canadian vets in Brandon, Manitoba. The result is a moving presentation about the struggle for human dignity in the face of war.
