Dance artist, teacher and choreographer Liliona Quarmyne, based in Antigonish, NS, explores her ancestry through dance. In August 2011, she collaborated with other dancers in Cardiff, Wales to create and perform Atlantic. She describes Atlantic as a piece that ‘honours who we are and honours the ancestors from whom we came.’ This work-in-progress is continuing to grow and tour to date...
